Many of the cafes are integrated with farms located along the dyke where products of their own fresh produce are prepared, for instance jams and juices, dairy products and baked goods. Dammsiel or Kuhsiel are two of the most popular farm cafes along the way. Blockland can be best reached by car or by bike. The University and Technologiepark are nearby.
